Company History
Michael Cox Enterprises, LLC
In 1994, Michael Cox set out to setup his own business. He operated a bulletin board system (BBS) known first as "Of Mice & Men BBS" and then as the "TCR BBS" (TCR being an abbreviation for The Computer Room), finally as the "Legacy BBS".
He started doing computer work as "The Computer Room" (abbreviation as TCR) and website design and hosting as "Legacy Online Communications" (which Legacy BBS was part of).
The full name of the company was "TCR - The Computer Room, a Division of Michael Cox Enterprises".
However, because of time and other problems, TCR and Legacy Online Communications never materialized much more than being setup. Finally, in 1996, Michael shut down all aspects of both TCR & Legacy Online, although he would still use the name Michael Cox Enterprises.
In 2000, Michael started Michael Cox Consulting, or MC Consulting for short. MC Consulting designed short computer operating guides ("How-To's"), website design, and other computer services.
A few years later, in 2002, Michael Cox Enterprises was officially organized. MC Consulting was reorganized as a division of Michael Cox Enterprises.
