Job Descriptions

Each employee of COX Technologies, LLC has a specific job description. This job description includes the employee's specific assignment. Each job description is generic only. Other tasks may be assiged at anytime, which may or may not fall within the scope of your specific job description. (Employee Manual & Company Policies, page 6). This is by no means a complete list, but a list of the common openings.


Dispatcher/Book Keeper - A Dispatcher/Book Keeper is responsible for taking incoming calls and assigning new service requests to field computer technicians. In addition, they are responsible for basic accounting entries.



Field Computer Technician - As a field computer technician, you will interact directly with the public. You will be responsible to fix computer related problems in a person's home or business.
A field computer technician needs to have their A+ Certification, as well as one other certification.



 Senior Field Computer Technician - A senior field computer technician has all the duties and responsibilities of a field computer technician. In addition, a senior field computer technician supervises a team of 4-5 field computer tecnicians, under the direction of the field technicial manager.
A senior field computer technician needs to have one major certification (CNE, MCSE, CCNA, for example) and good management skills.



Field Technicial Manager - The Field Technicial Manager oversees all the field technicians at a single location.
He or she is assisted in this by the Senior Field Computer Technicians.
